Book Review: The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires

I’m not really sure how I feel about this one...on one hand, it’s the kind of book that makes you want to slap characters cause they need a good smack upside the head...on the other hand, it revels in its 80’s nostalgia (not quite as much as his other book, “My best friend’s exorcism”)...and it’s very southern so that’s a point in the pro column (Charleston, SC)...and it does handle the vampire trop a bit differently (no sparkly vampires here)...but I still wanted to smack characters. HARD. A bunch of them so...read at your own risk. It’s weird when the character that’s suppose to be the villain, is a vampire, and is not as villainous or as horrible as some of the characters you’re suppose to root for.
